L&#8217;inondation &#8212; le ciel nous \u00e9pargne &#8212; qui l&#8217;a pr\u00e9c\u00e9d\u00e9, annonce, on en est s\u00fbr, un raz de mar\u00e9e folk de tout premier ordre\u00a0!<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">En deux albums, sans compter son album en duo avec <em>Charles Rumback<\/em>, et un troisi\u00e8me \u00e0 para\u00eetre tr\u00e8s bient\u00f4t, <strong>Ryley Walker<\/strong> est tout de suite devenu l&#8217;obsession de nos platines affam\u00e9es de galettes de qualit\u00e9. Pourquoi\u00a0? Tout d&#8217;abord, Ryley est jeune. Le d\u00e9tail pourrait sembler anodin, voire oiseux, si l&#8217;\u00e9coute de <em>All Kinds Of You (2014)<\/em> et <em>Primrose Green (2015)<\/em> ne laissait pantois. On n&#8217;ose le prononcer, tant ces comparaisons ont \u00e9t\u00e9 galvaud\u00e9es et tir\u00e9es jusqu&#8217;\u00e0 la corde mais l&#8217;on pense tout de suite \u00e0 <em>Nick Drake<\/em> \u2013 par petites touches \u2013 et surtout \u00e0 <em>Tim Buckley<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><strong>Ryley Walker<\/strong> joue de la guitare avec une subtilit\u00e9 et une ma\u00eetrise peu commune mais ce n&#8217;est qu&#8217;une donn\u00e9e du probl\u00e8me. Sa voix tir\u00e9e, chaude et vibrante, sans \u00e2ge, \u00e9voquerait \u00e0 coup s\u00fbr les grands ma\u00eetres du genre (<em>Jim Croce<\/em>, <em>Townes Van Zandt<\/em>, <em>John Martyn<\/em>) si les orchestrations, souvent lyriques, n&#8217;imposaient leur style, \u00e0 la fois fouill\u00e9 et \u00e9vident.
